Armenia’s police have received a report from the hospital about a
wounded person having been transported to the hospital. Samvel S.,
41, has been taken to hospital with gun wounds from Aram Khachatryan
street on December 5.

Speaking to the police officers, Samvel said on December 5 at 2.00
a.m. he noticed an unknown person of about 40 years old near the
entrance to Aram Khachatryan 4 and wanted to learn his identity. The
latter tried to escape while Samvel grabbed him from his hand pushing
him on ground. During that period a second person appeared with a
gun shooting at Samvel few times after which the two fled the site.

Criminal case has been filed. Investigation is under way.
