PanARMENIAN.Net – On December 1, FIDE published the list of strongest
chess players of the world, with Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian
retaining second spot with 2815 points.
Magnus Carlsen (Norway) tops the list with 2848 points; Russia’s
Vladimir Kramnik is 3rd with 2795 points.
Armenian grandmaster Vladimir Akopian climbed 43rd with 2704 points;
Sergei Movsesian is 61st with 2688 points; Gabriel Sargissian dropped
to 81st spot with 2666 points.
