OVER TWO DOZEN YOUTH WERE SEE OFF TO THE ARMY FROM SEVAN WITH SONGS AND DANCES

SEVAN, NOVEMBER 21, ARMENPRESS: The November 20th in Sevan was the
first day of autumn conscription: over two dozen youth were seeing
off to the army. According to “Armenpress” the day of conscription
turned into city holiday by the enterprise of the mayor of Sevan
Rudik Ghukasyan, the participants of which were not only the levies,
their parents and relatives but also other city dwellers.

The Mayor Rudik Ghukasyan sent greetings to the heroes of the day. He
said: “It is honorable to serve in the most efficient army of our
region and today you deserve it. I share your parent’s excitement
and at the same time I believe that they must be proud that they send
their sons to Armenian army.

Military commissary, lieutenant colonel Atayan wished the boys good
military service, wishing peaceful sky and protected borders. The
“Sevan” folk dance ensemble members of the Cultural Center of Sevan
reported patriotic charges by their fiery dance to the participants.
