A DISPLAY OF ARMENIAN MANUSCRIPTS OPENS IN BRITISH MUSEUM

Yerevan/Mediamax/. A display of Armenian manuscripts opened in the
Ritblat Treasures Gallery of the British Museum.

The official website of the British Museum reads that the treasures
were exhibited on celebrating the 500th anniversary of Armenian
printing, the designation of Yerevan as 2012-2013 World Book Capital
and the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations
between the Republic of Armenia and the United Kingdom.

In particular, the visitors may watch rare specimen of the earliest
Armenian printed books the Library holds.

The exhibition will be open till January 13.
