THE INCOME FROM IOSIV KOBZON’S CONCERT WILL BE GRANTED TO THE MUSICAL SCHOOLS OF GYUMRI

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 20, ARMENPRESS. The People’s Artist of USSR Iosiv
Kobzon’s concert in Yerevan will be held in Aram Khachaturyan concert
hall on November 22. The 50th anniversary concert tour is called “I
Love You Life”. In a conversation with “Armenpress” the enterprising
of the concert, the head of the charitable fund of “Sozvezdie” Mary
Stepanyan mentioned, that this will be a charity concert.
Stepanyan noted: “The whole income from the concert will be granted to
a number musical schools in Gyumri to buy new musical instruments”. As
she mentioned the idea of the concert sprang at spot in a short period
of time, but the desire of organizers was great to realize the concert
in accordance with the modern standards.
Besides the People’s artist of the USSR music bands and performers
from Russia and Armenia will take part in the concert. The director
of the office informed that the singer will arrive in Yerevan on
November 21 and spend 3 days in the capital. Stepanyan stated:
“We are considering the meeting of Iosiv Kobzon and the President
of the Republic of Armenia, Kobzon expressed a wish to go to Arno
Babajanyan’s grave as well.
