The bus drove into the glass enclosure of stadium in Baku

YEREVAN, NOVEMEBR 17, ARMENPRESS: A bus lost control and drove into
the glass enclosure of `Shafa’ stadium, located on Heydar Aliyev
Avenue in Baku on Saturday, Armenpress reports referring to
Azerbaijani press.

Police department of Nizami district confirmed the information,
reporting that there are injured in a result of an accident. According
to the preliminary information, the high speed caused the accident.
The bus N11 crashed into a traffic light, and then drove into the
glass enclosure of `Shafa’ stadium, striking a parked Toyota Prado
car, witnesses said. Ambulances and traffic police are working at the
scene.

According to updated reports 8 people were injured as a result of the
accident. They all have been hospitalized. Their condition is assessed
as moderate.

Nizami district police are investigating the incident.
