ARMENIA-TURKEY PROTOCOLS MUST BE WITHDRAWN FROM PARLIAMENT’S AGENDA – HERITAGE

YEREVAN.- Heritage parliamentary group demands that Armenia-Turkey
protocols must be withdrawn from the agenda of the Armenian parliament,
said group’s secretary Zaruhi Postanjyan.
“It was shameful to sign the protocols. They must be withdrawn as
soon as possible. As representatives of parliamentary majority, you
must urge the President to recall the documents,” Postanjyan said
addressing Republican MPs in the parliament on Monday.
In the context of Syrian developments where thousands of Armenians
are urged to leave their homes and with Turkey’s active role, it is
unacceptable to have Armenia-Turkey protocols on the agenda.
