YEREVAN. – In recent times, the foreigners have shown an increased
interest toward receiving education in Armenia’s institutions of higher
learning, Education and Science Minister Armen Ashotyan stated during
Thursday’s Cabinet meeting.
Specifically, around 900 people from India have expressed a wish to
study at Yerevan State Medical University, but there are not enough
places in the dormitories to board them.
Ashotyan informed, however, that activities are underway to increase
the number of Armenia’s dormitories.
