Armenian and US colleagues

Kyiv October 26

The servicemen of the Ukrainian contingent in Kosovo have passed their
responsibility for the security of the Nothing Hill base in northern
Kosovo to the Armenian contingent, the press service of the Ukrainian
Defense Ministry reported on Thursday.

During the ceremony to replace the national flags on the base’s
flagpole, reports on the transfer of powers from their subordinates
were received by the commanders of the national contingents,
Lieutenants Colonel Illia Fedorenko and Tigran Saakyan.

In addition, the Ukrainian peacekeepers transferred to the U.S.
contingent responsibility for the security of the Mount Goles
communications center, which is located near the region’s

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
