YEREVAN, OCTOBRER 26, ARMENPRESS: On the threshold of William
Saroyan’s 105 anniversary Marine Zakaryan’s “Half Moon Bay” Demo
will be demonstrated on big screens. Saroyan’s “Parsley Garden”,
“Third day after Christmas”, “Pheasant Hunter” and “Half Moon Bay”
four novels will be wrapped up in “Half Moon Bay” Demo.
“Saroyan is one of my favorite authors, whose humanistic, optimistic
world outlook helped me to overcome many difficult situations in
my life ” film director Marine Zakaryan told in the briefing with
Armenpress. Director’s cherished dream is the film be ready by 2013,
August 31, on the anniversary of the author. In the words of Zakaryan
despite the fact many successful films have been screened previously,
yet the stance of the author is quite another.
“I am often asked why I chose Saroyan story tales my answer runs, he
is a phenomenon, the author’s outlook is dear to my heart ” Zakaryan
stated. Half Moon Bay is the town where the actions of the film take
place. In real film actions will comprise a wider geography, almost the
entire territory of the Republic. Already shootings were orchestrated
in capital Yerevan, Ptghni, Garni, Dilijan, Tsakhkadzor, etc.
“Half Moon Bay” Demo half of the cast is known: Ashot Adamian, Narine
Grigoryan, Nanor Petrosyan, Karen and Sos Janibekyan, Sona and Ani
Galstyan and other world known and unknown names.

and Rotterdam festivals.
