ARMENIA AIMS TO BE RANKED IN 20ND POSITION IN DOING BUSINESS

YEREVAN , OCTOBER 25, ARMENPRESS: Armenia has goal to be ranked in the
20nd position in World Bank’s International Financial Corpporation
report. We must not be satisfied with 32 position Tigran Sargsyan ,
Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia came forth in the course
of Government session.

“Reportedly this is a nice result, yet there is much to be done. Many
countries heads keep the report under their supervision as it
represents the country’s business environment. It is noteworthy the
reports are given taking into account the private sector surveys as
well” Tigran Sargsyan noted, Armenpress reports.

According to PM prices for services provided to businesses,
water supply, gas supply, garbage withdraw, electricity have been
significantly simplified and reduced. “We have made significant
changes to reduce the costs and registered progress. Yet we are going
to relieve costs in the direction of custom clearance, foreign trade,
goods export. We are yielding our neighbors in the number of requiring
of references, we need to eliminate the demand for different types
of documents, costs ” the head of the Executive Body announced.

According to International Financial Corporation of the World Bank
Armenia has improved its position by 18 points.
