US citizen dies at Yerevan international airport

YEREVAN. – United States citizen, Los Angeles resident Hakob
Karapetyan, 56, died suddenly at the arrival section of the Armenian
capital city Yerevan’s Zvartnots International Airport on Sunday at
around 5:30am, the Zvartnots Airport Police Department informed
Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Prior to his passing, Karapetyan had felt ill, the doctors had rushed
to administer him first aid, but they were unable to save his life.

A report is being prepared on the incident, and a forensic medical
examination is commissioned.
