Turkey forces Aleppo bound Armenian plane to land
Humanitarian aid aboard, authorities check cargo
(ANSAmed) – ANKARA, 15 OCT – Turkish authorities forced an Armenian
plane to land in Erzurum for cargo checks Monday, according to state
broadcaster TRT.
Private TV network NTV reports that the plane was bound for Aleppo and
is carrying humanitarian aid. If no security issues arise the plane
will be allowed to continue to Aleppo.
Last Wednesday Turkey forced a Syrian civilian airliner en route from
Moscow to Damascus to land in Ankara.(ANSAmed).
