DOLLAR CONTINUES GAINING VALUE IN ARMENIA

YEREVAN. – The American dollar’s average exchange rate, against the
Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 408.74/$1, at NASDAQ OMX Armenia
stock exchange on Friday.
To note, the stock exchange had seen no trading on Thursday, and the
aforesaid exchange rate is a 0.43-percent-or a 1.74-point-gain from
the previous trading session on Wednesday.
It is noteworthy that the offer for the American national currency
was very large at the stock exchange, as Friday’s sales totaled $6.5
million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia.
The dollar’s buying exchange rate rose all the way to AMD 407.5/$1, in
Armenia’s cash foreign currency market, and it is sold at AMD 410/$1.
