ARMENIAN PM AND LENINGRAD GOVERNOR DISCUSSED ISSUES RELATED TO EXPORT OF ARMENIAN AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 11, ARMENPRESS: Tigran Sargsyan , Prime Minister
of the Republic of Armenia received Alexander Drozdenko, Governor
of Leningrad region Russian Federation arrived in Armenia for
participating in Armenian-Russian inter- regional second forum.

Welcoming the quest in the Government PM stated ” We are attaching
great importance to bilateral inter-regional cooperation , the launch
of forum already for the second year contributes to it ” information
and public relations department of the Government told Armenpress .

The head of the Executive body expressed hope Alexander Drozdenko’s
visit will boost the launch of new joint programs among the regions
of two states. Leningrad Governor expressed satisfaction especially
pertain to the level of bilateral cooperation and informed several
joint projects are being implemented in social, educational and
humanitarian spheres.

Alexander Drozdenko voiced hope bilateral cooperation will expand in
the nearest future , economic sphere inclusive. In that context the
interlocutors envisaged the establishment of ties in the agricultural
sector, especially the export of agricultural products as well as
issues related to the involvement of Leningrad region investments
in Armenia’ s free economic zones. The sides dwelled on possible
cooperation and the establishment of ties in the pharmaceutical sector.
