HOLY SEE DELEGATE WILL MAKE A SPEECH IN EPISCOPAL MEETING OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 9, ARMENPRESS. On October 7 in Vatican under the
leadership of Pope of Rome Most Holy Benedict XVI started the Episcopal
meeting of the Catholic Church dedicated to “New Evangelization for
spreading and fortifying of Christian faith”. As Information Centre
of the Holy See told “Armenpress”, all the bishops of the Catholic
Church, as well as representatives of Orthodox and Eastern Orthodox
Churches, Anglican Church, Ecumenical organizations and other western
denominations arrived to Vatican to take part in the meeting lasting
three weeks.
By blessing of Catholicos of All Armenians H. H. Garegin II in the
meeting Mother See of Holy Ejmiatsin will be represented in the face
of Elder Supervisor of Spiritual Educational Institutions of Mother
See Holy Ejmiatsin and supervisor of Gevorgyan Spiritual Academy Rev.
Gevorg bishop Saroyan. During the meeting Holy Father will make a
speech on the topic and send fraternal greetings of Catholicos of
All Armenians to Pope of Rome H. H. Benedict XVI.
During his visit to Vatican Rev. Gevorg will meet Secretary of State
of Vatican Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone and the head of Eastern Churches
Department of Rome Cardinal Leonardo Sandri, as well as with persons,
responsible for a raw of educational institutions of Catholic Church.
