Turkey’s calls for calm

ANKARA – Hürriyet Daily News

Turkey has called on Armenia to behave with common sense in regard to
an airport that has been opened in disputed Nagorno-Karabakh, the
Foreign Ministry has said in a statement. `We call upon Armenia to
behave with common sense and to refrain from actions which could
threaten the region’s peace,’ the statement said Oct. 5. Recalling
that that test flights would start soon at the Khankendi airport, the
statement said it contitutes `provocation.’ Azerbaijan previously has
called on the world to condemn Armenia’s steps.
