YEREVAN. – Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) has no intentions to comment
on the rumors sounding as fairy tales, which have been circulating
recently in various media outlets and among experts, secretary of the
PAP parliament group Naira Zohrabyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am. “Our
response in connection with the upcoming presidential elections is the
following – the PAP will voice it when time comes, while circulating
rumors are simply useless attempts,” she claimed. Earlier the agency
has informed that Armenian politicians are discussing an issue of
the Government formation on national accord after the presidential
elections next year. However, no precise information on what powers
want to participate in those discussions is available. At the same
time, Armenian newspaper Haykakan Jamanak claimed that its own sources
inform that the issue of establishing government on national accord
is included in the upcoming talks agenda between the PAP leader Gagik
Tsarukyan and the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
