PanARMENIAN.Net – Interaction – 2012 CSTO CRRF military exercises
were launched at Marshal Baghramyan firing ground in Armenia.
As Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan stated at the opening of
the drills, the exercises were held in line with CSTO combat training
plan for 2012.
The drills aim to form an addition to CSTO’s Collective Rapid Reaction
Forces currently listing 20000 people.
“CRRF are already a serious regional force capable of neutralizing
a potential threat,” Ohanyan said.
As he noted, the commando units of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan,
Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan are ready to unite in the face of
possible threats.
