ARMENIAN PRESIDENT ATTENDS INAUGURATION OF NAGORNO KARABAKH LEADER

Armenian President Serzh Sargsian attended a special session of the
National Assembly of the self-proclaimed Republic of Nagorno Karabakh
on Friday at which its President Bako Saakian was sworn in, the press
service of the Armenian president reports.

After brining the oath, Saakian made a speech and then followed the
parade of the armed forces of Nagorno Karabakh that was also attended
by the president of Armenia and members of a government delegation.

Saakian was reelected in the July 19 election.
