SOLDIER FOUND DEAD IN ARMENIA’S CAPITAL

A conscript serving in a military unit of capital Yerevan was found
dead in the vicinities of a sentry post on Sunday afternoon.

According to a press release by the Ministry of Defense, the deceased,
identified as Arman S. Sargsyan, is thought to have committed suicide.

A special task force went to the scene to conduct a site examination
and other urgent operations. An expert examination has been assigned.

A Ministry’s investigative service has launched a criminal proceeding
under Article 110.1 of Armenia’s Criminal Code (causing a person to
commit suicide).
