YEREVAN, JULY 28, ARMENPRESS: Several days have passed after
the presidential elections in Nagorno-Karabakh Republic but some
international Media continue to reverberate to democratic elections in
Artsakh and their results. Armenpress reports that German Jungewelt
daily newspaper in his article notices that Nagorno-Karabakh, which
is populated exclusively by Armenians, is one of the four de-facto
states in the territory of former Soviet Union with South Ossetia,
Abkhazia and Transnistria. The newspaper considers Nagorno-Karabakh
as the largest of them with its 11 458 square kilometers. At the
same time Jungewelt daily newspaper notices that the country has a
population of almost 150 000 people.

It is peculiar that the presenting the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh
with such territory is an unusual fact for German newspapers as
in case of such territory in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh are
included also surrounding areas of the Republic.
