DOLLAR CONTINUES TO GROW WEAKER IN ARMENIA

YEREVAN. – The US dollar is still losing ground in Armenia’s financial
market.

The American currency’s average exchange rate, against the Armenian
dram (AMD), comprised AMD 407/$1, at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange
on Thursday, and this is a 0.19-percent-or a 0.79-point-fall from
the previous trading session on Wednesday.

In addition, the dollar was even offered for a lower exchange rate
at the end of the trading day.

And the total sales were $3.75 million at the stock exchange.

In Armenia’s cash foreign currency market, the exchange offices sell
the US currency at AMD 407.5/$1, and the dollar’s buying rate has
dropped all the way to AMD 404-405/$1.
