ARMENIAN PARLIAMENTARY DELEGATION TO OBSERVE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION IN NAGORNO-KARABAKH

A delegation of the National Assembly of Armenia will leave for
Nagorno-Karabakh on July 18 to observe the forthcoming presidential
election in that country.

The head of the parliamentary group of the Republican Party of Armenia
Galust Sahakyan has told ArmInfo that the delegation will consist of
ten deputies – two from each faction.

The election will also be observed by a group of European and Russian MPs.

The voting is scheduled for July 19, with three people to run for the
post: acting President Bako Sahakyan, national hero Vitaly Balasanyan
and Vice Principal of the Nagorno-Karabakh Branch of the State
Agrarian University of Armenia Arkady Soghomonyan.
