ARMENIAN SPEAKER PRAISES CIS IPA EFFORTS

The National Assembly of Armenia attaches much significance to the
efforts taken by the CIS Inter-parliamentary Assembly to step up
cooperation between the two countries, speaker Hovik Abrahamyan said.

At the meeting with Russian Federation Council chairperson Valentina
Matviyenko on Wednesday, Abrahamayan said he is convinced that under
Matviyenko’s leadership “the CIS Inter-parliamentary Assembly will
carry out the tasks, which were set before the organization”.

He congratulated Matviyenko on the 20th anniversary of the Assembly
and wished the new success to the organization.
