IRAN’S INTERIOR MINISTER HEADS TO ARMENIA

TEHRAN (ISNA)-Iranian Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar
departed for Yerevan Monday morning to hold talks with Armenian
high-ranking officials.

Promotion of mutual security cooperation, fighting drug trafficking,
managing crisis and expanding trade ties are among issues to be
discussed during the two-day visit to the country.

Najjar referred to the purposes of his visit to the country before
his departure, stressing the necessity of expanding mutual ties
with Armenia.

He said the two countries possess the capabilities for expanding
cooperation in various fields including energy, customs,
transportation, trade and industry as well as scientific interactions.
