Turkey has closed the National Committee for Armenian-Turkish
Relations, 1news reports.

The committee was founded as part of the Higher Educational Council
of Turkey in 2003. It was researching relations of Turkey and Armenia,
Armenian culture, politics, history and social structure.

The committee consisted of two members of the Higher Educational
Council, 7 scientists specialized in the Caucasus and Armenia and 5
non-state experts.
