The newly appointed Sport and Youth Minister of Armenia Hrachya
Rostomyan has left the Prosperous Armenia party.
He says that his appointment is not politically motivated but is
purely professional.
“I am ready to resign and rejoin my party whenever its leader,
President of Armenia’s Olympic Committee Gagik Tsarukyan or President
of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan say that they are no longer satisfied with
my work,” says Rostomyan.
Prosperous Armenia has lost all of its ministerial posts when it
refused to form a coalition with the ruling Republican Party after
the last parliamentary elections.
