ARMENIAN STATE DEPARTMENTS TO TAKE PART IN CSTO MILITARY EXERCISES

YEREVAN, JUNE 14, ARMENPRESS: in 2012 two military exercises will be
held according to Collective Security Treaty Organization’s plan.
Armenpress reports that during the session of the Government Minister
of Defense Seyran Ohanyan mentioned that the first is military
exercise “Cooperation 2012” with the use of forces of rapid reaction,
the second is the military exercise of strategic command for armed
forces. “In the first, strategic stage of this military exercise
representatives of all state departments are also included, including
the Council of Security. In this regard with all responsible persons
of corresponding departments as every year are held meetings in order
to be ready for the exercises” said the minister. Ohanyan informed
that the strategic stage of the military exercise will be held on
June 25-27. Seyran Ohanyan asked the governing bodies of ministries
to prepare their responsible persons in order they take part in this
event properly. Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan charged
the heads of the ministries to be guided by the principles sounded
by Seyran Ohanyan.
