“At the regional visit of the U.S. Secretary of State this incident
is disrespect towards OSCE Minsk group co-chairs and individually
towards USA,” expert Edgar Hovhannisyan told Panorama.am commenting
on attack against an Armenian military station nearby Chinari village.

Expert said issues related to the NK conflict settlement were supposed
to be discussed during U.S. State Secretary’s visit, hence assault
prior to Clinton’s visit highlights Azerbaijan’s official disposition.

“Azerbaijan has proved another time the settlement of the conflict or
peaceful negotiations mean nothing for them and that the allegations
of the Armenian side that advancement is not materialized because of
Azerbaijan’s destructive approaches,” said E Hovhannisyan.

Expert expressed hope that the U.S. senior official will remark on
the incident and voice addressed statements.

“Unaddressed statements made by the international community give
birth to new incidents which is unacceptable,” said the expert.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
