At 18.00, May 5, the NKR presidential candidates’ nomination process
was completed. Four citizens have expressed their will to participate
in the struggle for the President’s post.
As Karabakh-open.info was informed at the Central Election Commission,
NKR incumbent President Bako Sahakyan, NA deputy Vitali Balasanyan,
deputy director on educational part of the Stepanakert branch of the
Armenian Agrarian University Arkadi Soghomonyan and former head of
the NA General Service Valeri Khachatryan, unemployed at the moment,
have been nominated as independent non-party candidates.
