PanARMENIAN.Net – Armenia and Iran have a little dropped behind with
oil pipeline construction schedule, RA Prime Minster said.

During an interview with Shant TV, Tigran Sargsyan cited “certain”
developments in Iran as the reason behind the lag.

“The project is in implementation stage,” he said, adding that all
the major economic projects with Iran remain in force, including the
hydropower plant construction on Araks River.

Dwelling on Armenia’s handling the financial crisis, Prime Minster
Sargsyan noted that Armenia restored all economic indices before
the pre-crisis period. Hailing the effectiveness of RA government’s
anti-crisis program, he said it was the biggest and the most successful
program.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
