GAVAR, APRIL 17, ARMENPRESS. It is already the second year Sevan
is celebrating Francophonie days through the range of events and
exhibitions. Sevan city hall press secretary Armine Ghukasyan stated
that the beginning of Francophonie days has already declared their
launch in the central library, where the presentation of the books
entitled ” French literature in Armenian ” was held. The presentation
of French literature fund in the library was of cognitive and aesthetic
nature. Number 1 school’s pupils who in this academic year started
learning French as the third language were enabled to watch a tide of
Children Films in French. Children’s Creative Center attenders chose
the topics from French fairy tales.Since 2004 Sevan has established
decentralized cooperation with France Greoble city. It is already
the third year ” France-Formation International” organization due
to the cooperation between Grenoble and Sevan city halls has been
launching French language summer school courses. The participants
came forth with French language songs, and poems. French musicians’
works were presented in city’s musical schools.
