PanARMENIAN.Net – The meeting of Council of Foreign Ministers of the
Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will consider global
and regional challenges, CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha said
after a meeting with Kazakhstan’s foreign minister Yerzhan Kazykhanov.

Press service of Kazakhstan’s embassy in Armenia quoted Bordyuzha as
saying: “We discussed the agenda of the meeting of Council of CSTO
Foreign Ministers, readiness of documents, and some problems to be
proposed for ministerial discussion.”

“You know, the Council will first of all consider the global and
regional challenges faced by CSTO member-states, as well as measures of
foreign political impact to reduce threats for our states,” Secretary
General stated.

According to Bordyuzha, the ministerial meeting will discuss problems
of Afghanistan, processes in northern Africa, as well as some issues
emerging in CSTO states, in particular, EU sanctions against Belarus
and hot spots in the Caucasus.

Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian is taking part in the
meeting of CSTO Foreign Ministers Council underway in Astana.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
