GEORGIAN ARMENIANS WISH TO PLACE MEMORIAL STONE OF THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE IN TBILISI

YEREVAN, APRIL 3, ARMENPRESS. “Georgian Armenian community”
organization has appealed to the Tbilisi City Hall and City Council
to install a memorial stone dedicated to the memory of victims of
the Armenian Genocide 1915- 1923.
The initiators are asking to take into consideration the righteous
demand and enable the community the right to install a memorial stone
dedicated to the victims of Armenian Genocidethe application has been
signed by member-organizations of the Georgian-Armenian Community –
Georgian Armenians’ Youth Union, Armenian Youth Association in Georgia
and Georgian Armenian Community Student Union.
The application holders highlighted that they have addressed to Tbilisi
authorities for several times but up to now no monument dedicated to
the victims of Armenian Genocide has been installed yet.
