Tehran, Feb 6, IRNA – Ministry of Energy reported on Monday that
Iran’s export of electricity has registered a 27 percent increase
during the first 11 months of the Iranian year.

According to the website of the Energy Ministry, Iran exported 7,349
gigawatt-hours of electricity during the said period this year,
up from 5,769 GWh last year.

Since the enforcement of subsidy plan, the consumption of electricity
has decreased in the country, preparing ground for export of
electricity to neighboring countries including Armenia, Pakistan,
Turkmenistan, Turkey, Iraq and Afghanistan.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
