Russian paratroopers will for the first time hold a joint exercise
with their U.S. counterparts in Colorado, the United States, in May,
Russian Airborne Troops spokesman Alexander Kucherenko told Itar-Tass
on Tuesday.

This year paratroopers also plan to conduct joint drills with the
armed forces of member-states of the CIS and the Collective Security
Treaty Organization in compliance with the effective international
agreements, the Defense Ministry’s press service said.

They include the joint anti-terror exercise of the Shanghai Cooperation
Organization Peace Mission-2012 in Tajikistan, the CSTO Collective
Rapid Reaction Force exercise in Armenia, the Russian-Ukrainian
exercise of the Airborne Troops in Tula, Russia, joint drills of the
mechanized troops of Ukraine, Belarus and Russia, the source said.
