DOES PRESCOTT APPROVE OF FULL PROPORTIONAL SYSTEM?
During today’s meeting with John Prescott, co-rapporteur of the
Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Heritage party
handed him a letter substantiating the party’s proposal to switch to
full proportional representation system.
in the letter, the party urges the PACE co-rapporteur to assist in
the elaboration of the Election Code and transmission to 100-percent
proportional electoral system proposed by the Heritage and Armenian
Revolitionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun. According to the authors of
the letter, the proposal is supported by more than a dozen political
parties.
