Overall, 87% of the 630 respondents involved in a poll in Yerevan do
not believe Armenia’s parliament defends their interests.
Zorik Martikyan, Head of the Center for Civil and Political Research,
reported that 26% of the respondents singled out social injustice, 24%
unemployment, 21% price rise and 15.5% emigrations as a major problem.
