The chief of the Defense Ministry’s Military Police, Aram Ter-Sahakyan,
was sacked yesterday evening, the local daily Hraparak reported,
citing its sources.

Ter-Sahakyan. who was appointed to the post after Vladimir Gasparyan,
the incumbent chief of Armenia’s Police, reportedly had certain
disagreements with his leadership.

The paper says the head of the Ministry’s Supervisory Department, Armen
Sahakyan is going to replace Ter-Sahakyan as the military police chief.
