LEBANON’S PRESIDENT WRAPS UP VISIT TO ARMENIA

The farewell ceremony for the President of Lebanon, Michel Sleiman
took place at the Presidential Palace.

Before that the leaders of the two countries had a short meeting to
discuss the results of the visit. President Sargsyan underscored that
he ascertained during the meeting with the Lebanese President that
the two friendly countries have common interests and willingness to
reinforce the existing friendship. According to President Sargsyan,
Michel Sleiman’s visit to Armenia was a step in that direction.

Serzh Sargsyan voiced hope they would meet again tin the near future,
thus giving an impulse to all interested parties to constantly
reinforce the current warm relations between Armenia and Lebanon.

Michel Sleiman thanked the Armenian President for the warm welcome
and noted that the Lebanese party would be consistent in realizing
the agreements signed and necessary directives would be given to the
corresponding agencies.

Lebanon’s President also underlined that his visit would serve as
an additional impetus for the intensification and reinforcement of
bilateral relations.
