MP: ARMENIA RISKS LOSING ITS NORTHERN GATES

(RPA), Javakhk expatriates’ union chair urged Armenian MPs of non-
Javakheti origin to address the issue of Armenian population outflow
from the region.
As Shirak Torosyan told a news conference, with Javakhk as the only
Northern gates of Armenia, the outflow is tragic to the country.
“We’re running the risk of losing our Northern gates,” the MP stressed
calling on Armenian authorities to extend more support to the region.
