ARMENIA ELECTED DEPUTY CHAIRMAN OF UNESCO COMMITTEE BUREAU

Armenia has been elected Deputy Chairman of the Bureau of UNESCO
Intergovernmental Committee for the Protection and Promotion of the
Diversity of Cultural Expressions, the press office of the Ministry
of Culture reported.

The election of Bureau members took place at the fifth session of the
UNESCO Intergovernmental Committee for the Protection and Promotion
of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions which was held in Paris on
December 5-7.

The session was attended by countries which joined the UNESCO
Convention “On Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural
Expressions” adopted in 2005, representatives of international
organizations and observers.
