A discussion on the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh
is to be held in the French Senate on 8 December.
The round table will discuss the topics “Conflict between Armenia
and Azerbaijan, forgotten conflict” and “French co-chair of the OSCE
Minsk Group”, ANS PRESS reported.
France is one of three co-chairs, alongside Russia and the USA,
of the OSCE Minsk Group, the international body seeking to mediate
a solution to the Karabakh conflict.
The Azerbaijani embassy in France has helped to organize the event,
which will involve deputies, politicians and historians from both
countries.
A photo exhibition on the conflict will be organized to accompany the
round table and traditional mugam music will be performed by singers
(khanende) from Karabakh.
