“Sanctions against Iran have not affected Armenia so far, but if
additional ones are passed by the EU, they will harm our country,”
Oskanyan said in an interview with Aljazeera.
He said Armenia believes in diplomatic ways including negotiations
to solve Iran-West dispute, adding that additional sanctions against
the Islamic Republic “would become a third closed border for Armenia.”
This conflict with Iran should be resolved through negotiations so that
we can avoid additional sanctions, and also military actions, he added.
