SAMVEL TER-SAHAKYAN WINS 7TH VICTORY AT WORLD YOUTH CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP

PanARMENIAN.Net – Armenia’s Samvel Ter-Sahakyan won his 7th victory
in U18 tournament of the World Youth Chess Championship in Caldas
Novas, Brazil.
Defeating Eric Rosen (U.S.) in round 8, Ter-Sahakyan tops the
standings with 7.5 points. Russia’s Vladimir Fedoseev comes second
with 6.5 points.
Robert Aghasaryan scored a victory over Juan Manuel Gaitan of Argentina
to climb to the 14th place with 5.5 points.
In the next round Ter-Sahakyan and Aghasaryan will face Das Debashis
(India) and Eric Rosen respectively.
