Visa regime facilitation with EU has been frequently discussed lately,
especially given the intensification of relations between Armenia
and the European Union. However, the visa regime facilitation and
establishment of free trade area is a long process, High Representative
of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Baroness
Catherine Ashton told a news conference at the MFA today.

“It takes a long time to launch the first stage of this process due
to many technical problems. Overcoming the technical challenges will
speed up the rest of the process,” said the EU High Representative.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
