RUSSIAN BEAR-CUB 2011 COMPETITION STARTS IN YEREVAN

The international competition ‘Russian bear-cub: Russian for everyone’
started in 312 Armenian schools, Nov. 11.

It is the 2nd competition organized by the Aib education fund, in
cooperation with the Rossotrudnichestvo office in Armenia.

Over 9,400 primary and senior school students are participating in
the competition this year – 4.5 times as many as last year, which is
evidence of growing interest.

Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo office in Armenia, Advisor to the
Russian Embassy in Armenia Victor Krivopuskov opened the competition
at Yerevan School #7 after Vladmir Mayakovsky.

The winners will receive special prizes. Senior cool students will
also be afforded opportunities to receive education in Russia higher
schools.
