Armenian-Indian ICT center to be founded in Yerevan November 04, 2011

YEREVAN. – Yerevan founds Armenian-Indian ICT center based on the
agreement signed between the governments of Armenia and India,
directed to deepening bilateral cooperation in the sphere of
information-communication technologies (ICT).

Official opening of the center is scheduled for November 7. Armenian
PM, other high-ranking officials and the Indian Minister of
Communication and Information Technologies Sachin Pilot will
participate in the opening ceremony.

The center’s objective is to create a special climate for ICT
professional education and conduct scientific-research work in the
sphere.

The program was realized by Armenia’s Enterprise Incubator Foundation
and Idnia’s Center for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) with
assistance of World Bank Armenia office.
