N. ZOHRABYAN DISPLAYS DETAILS FROM YEREVAN DECLARATION

The 12th session of Armenia-EU parliamentary cooperation commission
took place in the National Assembly.
Naira Zohrabyan, the co-chair of the commission and the Chairwoman of
NA standing Committee on Euro integration affairs, has said in a news
conference that EU cooperates with Azerbaijan in a similar format,
although EU-Azerbaijan parliamentary cooperation commission fails to
pass any declaration, while Armenia-EU cooperation commission managed
to pass a joint declaration where the issue of NK conflict has also
been focused on.
“The declaration states that EU backs efforts of the OSCE Minsk
Group towards the resolution of NK conflict. It also states that the
mending process of Armenian-Turkish relations cannot be linked with
the resolution of NK conflict,” said Mrs. Zohrabyan.
